We work with a small collective of weavers in the region of Bolgatanga, northern Ghana. The weavers set their own price for each basket they make ensuring real fair-trade, which we are proud to be a part of.

By working directly with these skilled artisans, we cut out the middle men who would otherwise reduce their profits by selling their baskets at market. This is a common practice in these basket weaving communities but one which does not benefit the makers.

With the money earned from their craft, the weavers are able to support their families and send their children to school, not otherwise possible as education is not free in Ghana.
